Nice documentary on the semantic web

We are awash with data. Despite the best efforts of Google et al, making sense of it all appears nigh on impossible.

The problem (to put it way too simply) is that while much of the data is structured the relationships between it are often ambiguous at best. The answer for many people (especially the really clever ones) is a new stage in the evolution of the web – the semantic web.

Filmmaker Kate Ray explores what's meant by the semantic web, some of the key arguments for and against, and the views of clever people like Tim Berners-Lee and Clay Shirky.

Warning it's kinda geeky (but in a deliciously good way). Enjoy.
